Our accommodations are are comprised of comfortable and self-contained suites in a heritage home located in the heart of downtown Nelson, BC. Whichever season you visit, the restaurants, shops, waterfront and mountains will fill your heart and soul with joy.

The Falls Suite
This studio sized suite is located on the upper level of the Inn. It includes one main room with one queen bed, a pull out queen sofa, dining table, and a kitchen. There is one bathroom in this suite with a tub/shower. This suite opens onto a balcony with outdoor dining furniture. It has a retractable awning to create shade in the summer months. Comfortably sleeps 2-4 people.

The Verandah Suite
This studio sized suite is located on the main level of the Inn. It includes one main room with one queen bed, a pull out queen sofa, and a dining table. There is a separate room with a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. This suite opens onto the verandah where there is outdoor furniture and the view overlooks the garden. Comfortably sleeps 2-4 people.

The Herridge Lane Suite
This studio sized suite is located on the main level of the Inn and is accessed from the back laneway. It includes one main room with one queen bed, a dining table, 2 arm chairs, and a kitchen. There is one bathroom with a shower in this suite. Located outside is a patio and outdoor dining furniture. Sleeps 2 people.

The Baker Suite
This spacious 1 bedroom suite is located on the main level of the Inn. It includes one bedroom with one queen bed, one bathroom with a shower, and the main room with a kitchen, dining table, sofa, and a set of single bed sized bunk beds. The french doors off this suite open from the main room onto the verandah where there is outdoor dining furniture. Comfortably sleeps 4 people.

The Baker Suite
This spacious 1 bedroom suite is located on the main level of the Inn. There is one free parking space available for each suite.
Linens & Toiletries
Our beds are all top of the line in comfort and quality. All bedding and towels are provided. Each bathroom is supplied with quality natural liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Smart TV
Each suite has a Smart TV which can access Netflix with the guesthouse account or another streaming channel that you personally subscribe to.
Washer & Dryer
There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers available for guests to use at certain times throughout the day.
Spices & Staples
Each suite has coffee, tea, salt/pepper, extra virgin olive oil, organic balsamic vinegar, pasta, sauce, and Annie’s organic cheese pasta. Help yourself to a meal on us!
Fully Equipped Kitchen
The kitchen in each suite has a coffee bodum or drip machine, pots & pans, dishes, popcorn maker, blender, kettle, utensils, and dish cloths/towels.
Air Conditioner
All our suites have their own Air Conditioners.
Coffee/Tea
Each suite is supplied with coffee beans from a local roastery called No. 6 Coffee as well as tea from a local company called Virtue Tea. There is a coffee grinder and a bodum or drip machine in each suite.
Checkin & Checkout
Arrival/departure times:
- Arrival time is 4 pm unless you have made prior arrangements to arrive early.
- Check out time is 11 am.
Parking
The guesthouse is located at 203 Victoria Street. Please be aware that this is a ONE WAY street. If you follow our driving directions (as seen on the website and your confirmation email) you will drive up to the back side of the building. There is a large concrete parking pad on the backside of the building that also wraps around on the west side of the guesthouse. If you are staying in the Herridge Lane Suite you have your own dedicated parking spot (see your confirmation email) but all other suites can park anywhere on the large concrete pad where there is space. We have room for 1 vehicle per suite. If you have more than one vehicle, please let us know and we can make that happen as well. Parking on the street is metered between 9 and 5 pm Monday through Saturday.
Cancellation Policy
When we make a reservation for you we are committed and won’t book it out to any other travelers. As we only have 5 suites, we need our guests to share this same level of commitment as your reserved suite will then be “un-rentable” for other guests online. We know that sometimes life has a way of interfering with our best laid travel plans so we have developed our cancellation policy to help you with these unforeseen situations.
If you have to cancel your reservation more than 2 weeks prior to your arrival date we will refund you the cost of your reservation less 10% (this will cover the credit card fees that we incur when charging and refunding your card and our time). If you have to cancel within 2 weeks of your arrival date we will put your suite back online as available and, if we can rent it out again to a new guest, we will only retain 10% of your total reservation cost (again, just to cover the credit card fees and time incurred when we charge/refund your card and repost the suite).If we are unable to rerent your suite so close to the arrival date, then we will refund you 50% of your total cost.
House Rules
- Dogs are welcome in all suites but must be declared at the time of making your reservation. Dog fees are $20/night/dog to a maximum of $40 per stay.
- Quiet time is between 9 pm and 8 am every day. Please be respectful at all times as this is a heritage building and therefore not as soundproof as a modern new building.
- There is a strict no smoking policy for the entire building and the property. Guests may smoke on the sidewalks surrounding the guesthouse or in the back laneway.
